Two gameplay questions
Hi there. I'm in pre-Searing and I have two questions.
I'm grinding the Vanguard quests. If Vanguard quest has a quest NPC that must be killed (such as Countess Nadya) in order for the quest to move on to the next stage, will she still respawn if you re-zone AFTER you have killed her? Or do you need to quit and restart the entire quest? Second question is about level 20. I PVPed a bit and I noticed the xp bar still increases when you are 20. Any purpose to that? Thanks! Sounds like you're new. If you are, I highly recommend ignoring the vanguard quest grinding for now, it'll completely mess up your progression through Prophecies and it's much slower than just moving onwards. If you're not new, by all means knock yourself out with it.

It depends on what the OP wants to do with this game, how many chars wants to make, how much progression he wants to do with each, etc.
For example, I started playing GW only two months ago, and I intend to play a single char in wait for GW2. I made it a human ranger and I spent 3 weeks in Pre-Searing in order to get my LDoA. And for that I found most useful grinding the Farmer Hamnet quest. Personally, I wouldn't miss the opportunity to get LDoA on a Prophecies char, rather than feeling sorry about not doing it six months later. |

The thing is, there's more oportunity to feel sorry for maxing out a char in Pre and messing up the entire campaign experience, than for getting one grindy title whose meaning is all but lost. In case you mean HoM, I doubt it will come down to "if only I had one more title, if only I had LDoA".
